| Guess who's 1! |
I know every Mom says this, but I really can't believe it's been one whole year since Elynna joined our family.

Now, I can't really say that it feels just like yesterday that I was in the delivery room in labor and giving birth just a little over a year ago. I've kind of forgotten what it's like to not be able to see my toes, to take more than a couple minutes to bend over and stand back up, and have heart burn out the wazoo every night around bedtime.

Anyway, I do know that I have most precious girl as a part of my life and I have been entrusted to raise her into a God-fearing, beautiful woman. I do know that I love being a Mommy. I love watching Ellie go from learning to roll over or sit up to crawling to saying "daag" and "ba" and "Momo" to nearly walking and collecting rocks.

She is still not completely sleeping through the night, so I know I can count on one hand how many times I've gotten 7 or more hours of sleep at one time. (I average 4-6). But that's just part of the cost of being a good parent.

Elynna really is our Shinning Light and a gift devoted to God. She has richly blessed Josh and I.

Now that Ellie isn't a little baby anymore, I have gotten bit by the baby fever bug again... Not time yet, but soon, I hope, it may be time to prepare for Baby Weaver #2. But in the mean time, we enjoy spending time with our lovely daughter, teaching her each day about life and about God's beautiful creation.
Thank you, Lord for our precious gift! Happy Birthday, Baby Girl!
