I am Ashley Weaver, the wife of wonderful Josh since 2007 and mommy of one (for now) precious little girl, Elynna faith- born October 2010.
We live in the valley of Grand Junction, Colorado and are very much blessed with the sunshine and surrounding mountains. This blog is a snap shot of our family.
I am a disciple of Jesus and love to let my light shine for Him. (Elynna's name means "Shining Light"). I'm constantly looking for ways to please Him and tell others about Him.The Lord has blessed me with many interests and talents and I have had many experiences with working with children over the last decade or so. I've done everything from cleaning up throw up in a daycare to teaching 8th grade English (crazy!) to staying up all night with the high school youth group.
I'm currently the Children's Ministry Director at our church, but being a wife and mom and friend is my main passion. I've always wanted to teach and raise children and I am THRILLED that I am now in that season.
I'm a bit of a planning, organizing and sorting fanatic. I'm on a quest for the best home management ideas and tricks. I love cooking and baking. You can often find me in the kitchen trying new recipes.
If I'm not making a schedule, planning an event, or baking some yummy peanut butter cookies, I'm playing and singing with my toddler or watching "Momo" on Sesame Street.
