So, a friend of mine from work gave me a huge tub of maternity clothes yesterday. Thank you!
We're about the same size which worked out really nice and she basically gave me everything she had. Now I've got a closet of maternity clothes that are my style and my size and were FREE!
Some of it I can't wear just yet because it's for when I get "bigger." I keep thinking, "Oh, how big can I get?" But I've seen my pregnant friends and I'm sure I'll get bigger. I'm about 22 weeks now. That's 5 months and 2 weeks... about 4 months to go exactly :)
I've got four months to "get bigger". . .

ReplyDeleteYes, you WILL get bigger. Much bigger actually. And I know you will love every minute of it because you have wanted this your entire life. Even the not so pleasant things you will still find joy in. :)
I love you and I am so happy that you are making this blog so I can be a part of this adventure with you even though I am nearly across the country from you. I watched you and Josh from the first steps of your relationship. I remember when you used to show me emails and text messages and ask, "Do you think he likes me?" I love that I have been there to see strangers meet, friends fall in love, lovers get married and spouses and Christ bring a baby blessing to your womb and eventually into this world to bless it.
I miss you dearly and I am truly delighted to be a part of this journey with you.

ReplyDeleteAs for getting bigger, yep... It happens! Everyone kept saying how small I was (I didn't really even show until 5 months), but then little by little I got bigger and then of course the last month... that's I think when I 'cooked' that boy a bit too much! ;o) I exploded and my tummy seriously almost doubled in size! But it is all so much fun! And you will LOVE being a mommy! I'm so excited for all of my friends to start having babies so I can be around more! ;o)
